Experience
Bob has employed by Elgin Surveying & Engineering, Inc.'s since 1970.
He began with company's predecessor firm as an instrumentman,
and has been continually employed by the firm since that time, and was
promoted to Party Chief, then to Chief of Field Surveys. He became a
Missouri Licensed Land Surveyor in 1981. As Chief of Field and GPS
Surveys, he oversees the crews field work, field procedures and training
of field personnel. An accomplished and thorough surveyor, Mr. Thompson
has experience in all types of surveys, including: GPS surveys, aerial
photo control, boundary retracement,
construction staking, topographic surveys, site surveys, precise
leveling, hydrographic surveys, quantity determinations, and accident
site surveys.

Bob is a member of the Missouri Society of Professional Surveyors (MSPS).
