At Elgin Surveying and Engineering, Inc. we provide professional surveying, engineering, and mapping services.  Details about our services can be found below and representative projects can be found in the Recent Projects Section.

Surveying
We have extensive surveying experience, having performed over 20,000 surveys in Southern Missouri for individuals, corporations, realtors, attorneys, banks, utilities, municipalities, architects, consulting engineers and state and federal agencies.  These surveys have been of all types including:

We are also experienced at conducting "FAA 405" Surveys and are familiar with FAA No. 405 Standards for Aeronautical Surveys and Related Products.  We regularly “team” with A/E firms as their surveying and mapping subcontractor.

Engineering
Our engineering department has designed the site civil work, plat layouts, and infrastructure construction plans for a variety of residential and commercial developments and municipal rehabilitation projects.  Typical services include:

We work closely with developers to create land development designs that meet their needs and enhance the surrounding communities.  Our engineers work with local and state authorities to produce sound engineering plans with the required permits.  Our subdivision projects range from one lot to over a hundred, and each is unique--tailored to the developer and the land to be developed.

Mapping
Our mapping department has completed many digital mapping projects including county  maps, ownership plat books, improvement districts and basemaps for cities.  We have also completed CAD based engineering surveys and mapping related to Missouri Department of Transportation highway relocation projects, and mapping related to litigation and court exhibits.
